"An official letter from the American Folklife Center at the U.S. Library of Congress, addressed to the artist Lea Majaro-Mintz. The letter formally acknowledges and thanks the artist for her valuable contribution of documented cultural materials, including recordings and photographs, which have been officially accepted into the permanent national archive to preserve her family and historical heritage."

Dear Mrs. Lea Majaro-Mintz:

On behalf of the Congressional Arts Caucus, we wanted to let you know how very much we enjoyed both the film presentation and your talk at the Israeli Embassy yesterday evening.

Your sculptures are both innovative and thought-provoking, and present women in an extremely positive, 'healthy' way. The female form has been distorted and manipulated to such a great extent by so many artists, and it is indeed a pleasure and a relief to encounter a sculptor whose works treat women with dignity, warmth and understanding.

Once again, we enjoyed meeting you and seeing your work in Washington. Thank you so much for a fascinating and pleasurable evening.

Sincerely,
